In the core of my being lies a deep desire to help others find peace, truth and a fulfilling life. I spent a good amount of time pursuing these things for myself and know of the struggles, the pains, but also the rewards and the joys of such a journey. I believe coaching can be a great tool for anyone wanting to focus, look inside and find his or her true self, desires and purpose. Diversity is my name. I was born in Brazil, where I lived my first 25 years. I then moved to the US, began building my life in a strange land, and now, many years later, am a proud American citizen. I speak both English and Portuguese fluently and I love to travel. I have a deep curiosity for different life-styles and cultures. There is so much we can learn by looking through the eyes of another human being. My first career was in music, where I earned a Master's degree in Sacred Music and worked in the field for over 20 years. However, while working full-time as a musician, music was never my ultimate goal. Rather, music became a tool to help create an environment where people could grow, discover themselves and build community. Through the years, I had the privilege of working with a variety of groups of different sizes, ethnic backgrounds and social classes. From the slums of Rio de Janeiro and the rural parts of Brazil to some of the wealthiest counties of the United States, we grew together and learned from each other. After music and some years in the graphic design field, I came to coaching, where I’ve found my true calling. I received my training at Coach U and am now a member of the International Coaching Federation. My client base is as diverse as my background. Some of my areas of focus are career transition and development, the promotion of wellness and healthy life-styles, the GLBT (gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender) community, and issues related to religion and spirituality.
